What We Need:

The Sports Business Unit at 2K is looking for an Associate Publishing Producer to work across our AAA Sports franchises. You will be working across multiple games, both live and in development, as part of the overall Sports Publishing Production team.

We are seeking an organized, proactive professional with 3+ years of game development experience-ideally in AAA or live-service environments-to drive critical publishing workstreams as part of a broader Publishing Production team. In this role, you will leverage your understanding of the development lifecycle and experience with tools to keep projects on track, acting as a "trusted expert" on our games, and a bridge of organizational clarity between development and publishing teams.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities in this role could include:
  • Leading publishing workstreams such as Age Ratings, User Research and Localisation, ensuring our development teams are supported and can meet their internal milestones on time, on budget and to quality
  • Leading asset approval process across in-game content, covering aspects such as licensor and legal approval
  • Supporting QA and 1st Party Submissions pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of launch content and post-launch patches
  • Collaborating with 2K Product Management team on production tasks relating to live ops - e.g. content allocation and testing coordination
  • Partnering with our Sports Business Unit internally, ensuring our Marketing and Commercial teams can operate with organizational clarity in their own functional areas
  • Acting as a "trusted expert" for the games you work on - understanding their mechanics, gameplay loops and overall content in depth
  • Travel, both domestic and international, may be required

What Will Make You a Great Fit:
  • 2+ years experience in internal or external game development, ideally on AAA and/or Live Service games
  • Previous experience in project management and production
  • Strong communication skills - you can easily translate technical development speak into clear updates for non-technical teams, both verbally and written
  • Quick learner - you are able to pick up new tools, technologies and processes quickly, and ask for support in a structured way if you get blocked
  • Adept at relationship-building - you are reliable, trustworthy and instill a sense of confidence in our development partners
  • Awareness of the gaming market - you are up to date with current industry trends as they relate to our own games
  • Understanding of the game development lifecycle - you know, at a high level, the milestones required to take a game from inception to global launch

What Tools You'll Have Experience With:
  • Adept with Google Suite, especially Sheets, Slides and Docs
  • Adept with Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with Jira

Bonus Points:
  • Familiarity with golf - both the sport itself and the surrounding culture
  • Experience playing AAA sports or other live service games


The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,700 and $126,860 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company's discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
