Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

The Associate Project Procurement Manager (APPM) supports Bid and Project PPMs on high-complexity projects and/or independently manages low-complexity projects across the full supply chain lifecycle.

The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and manage supply chain activities to streamline and secure end-to-end delivery for assigned projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support Bid PPM in preparing and maintaining the Acquisition/Supply Chain Management Plan for proposals

  • Prepare and maintain supply chain plans for low-complexity projects or customer extensions

  • Identify potential sources of supply in collaboration with Category teams

  • Identify procurement risks and provide mitigation strategies under supervision

  • Optimize purchasing mix (cost, schedule) for assigned proposals

  • Launch RFQs in coordination with Category Managers as defined in the plan

  • Execute projects by implementing the Acquisition/Supply Chain Management Plan, ensuring alignment of risks, cost, and schedule

  • Manage authorization processes for purchasing or manufacturing project equipment and spares

  • Coordinate with Engineering to ensure timely release of designs for procurement

  • Oversee full supply chain lifecycle, including:

    • Demand allocation

    • Forecast management

    • RFQs and purchase orders

    • Delivery tracking

  • Analyze MRP results, manage demand in SAP, and resolve planning exceptions

  • Support change management processes (including PCN implementation)

  • Develop and maintain supply chain performance reports using analytical tools

  • Ensure on-time delivery aligned with project milestones

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management or project-based environments

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma (preferably in a scientific or technical field)

  • Additional business education or relevant experience is an asset

  • SAP knowledge

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience in project risk evaluation and mitigation planning

  • Ability to drive project completion within timelines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Total Compensation Range (Base Salary + Annual Incentive plan) : $79,000 - $102,500
