Job Purpose

The Associate Marketing Manager supports the development of strategic fragrance initiatives for clients by translating consumer insights, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence into compelling fragrance stories and business opportunities. This role partners closely with sales, perfumers, evaluators, insights, and creative teams to develop client-focused fragrance concepts, identify white space opportunities, and deliver impactful presentations that inspire and drive business growth.

Your Location: New York

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Salary Range Based on Experience: $85,000 - $110,000.

Work schedule: 4 days on-site, 1 day home office

Main Responsibilities

Provide support to marketing, sales, evaluation and perfumery by monitoring, synthesizing and disseminating market and consumer information to support customer briefs

Identify client brand fragrance opportunities and ideate new concept directions and visuals, collaborating with development team for olfactive recommendations

Create and deliver presentations to client and internal audiences

Provide support to marketing and graphics colleagues and manage simple marketing programs and projects

Contribute to standard category reviews and trends presentations

Collaborate with Communications Team to support/generate content for external audiences and events

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree

4+ years of experience in marketing, fragrance, beauty or related industry

Strong knowledge of the beauty industry & market trends. Brand & product savvy.

Exceptional research, writing and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Able to manage projects independently and handle multiple priorities

Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva

Expert in existing and emerging social media platforms and digital initiatives
