Full Job Description
Reporting to the Process Tech Manager at our East Hanover, NJ manufacturing facility, you will be onsite to provide technical and automation support within operations. This role is ideal for an Engineer or a related technical field with an understanding of production facilities, automation, and daily problem resolution.

Manage internal non-conformities:

  • Lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, and lead corrective and preventive actions in partnership with cross-functional teams;
  • Use statistic analysis and problem-solving tools to support investigation and action plan;
  • Work with the shop floor to implement sustainable solution, using technical data, analytical skills, lab bench and shop floor expertise to provide higher performance


Technical Process Improvement and Engineering:

  • Define process and formula improvements to improve site performance (quality, cost reduction, yield, safety).
  • Coordinate resources and partners to ensure change management and project acceptance
  • Provide site process engineering support. Identify, justify, provide scope, and process requirements for technical process improvement projects.
  • Oversee startup of new equipment / processes


Project Leadership and Support:

  • Provide operations solutions for formula and process issues such as poor yield, chronic quality issues, excessive processing time, insufficient process controls, high product discard levels, formula, or process related safety issues.
  • Provide solutions for the rework of out of specification product that requires technical intervention.
  • Support site improvement projects such as product transfers, quality improvement projects, yield improvement projects, cost reduction, and capacity improvement projects.


You?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or science related degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with process/project work
  • Prefer Manufacturing/Engineering technical background, including product industrialization, process engineering, complex machinery and material flow, installations and evaluation of equipment into a growth environment.
  • Experience working with diverse workforce including technical teams, manufacturing groups, and leadership

The established salary range for this position is $80k-90k. Annual Bonus. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Education and experience partly determine Job Title and Base Salary, with our compensation program guidelines determining them.
