Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Working Pattern: Full Time - This position has a compressed work schedule (Monday through Thursday).

Working Location: Aiken, SC

Position Summary:

Provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and lead time (SQCD).

What you will be doing:
  • Provide daily assistance and support to assembly processes
  • Assist in analyzing product designs for the best fit method of manufacturing
  • Specify tools, equipment and process to produce a part and assemble an engine
  • Document and evaluate process while identifying improvements
  • Assist in developing statistically based manufacturing control strategies


Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering technology, or 4 years of engineering experience in design, assembly or manufacture of internal combustion engines.
  • In order to be considered for this role, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident


Preferred Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and terminology
  • Good level of analytical ability where problems are complex and unusual
  • Good knowledge of geometric tolerancing and related gauges
  • Good ability to interpret prints and drawings
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Daily work is performed in a general manufacturing, office, and test cell environment. This position has a compressed work schedule (Monday through Thursday).

While performing tasks for this position, the employee is regularly requested to perform work on a computer inside and occasionally outside of the work environment. Also, the employee will occasionally be required to work in environmental conditions where there are fumes and dust.

Finally, the employee will be frequently requested to perform tasks in environmental conditions where there are unpleasant odors and gases. Please note, the conditions can be hazardous.

While performing physical demands of the position, occasionally the employee will be occasionally requested to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and squat. Also, the employee will be regularly requested to sit within a particular work environment. Next, the employee will frequently be requested to walk inside and outside the work environment. Finally, an employee will be regularly requested to grasp and manipulate items in a maneuverable manner to perform daily tasks.
