What you'll do

The Associate Manager, Transformation Activation supports the activation of transformation workstreams across Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic objectives and the timely delivery of outcomes. Working within the Transformation Management Office (TMO), this role partners with business units and initiative owners to drive accountability with initiative owners, disciplined execution, maintain visibility into progress, and escalate when progress is at risk to enable successful outcomes across cross-functional initiatives.

  • Workstream Execution & Coordination: Support the execution of transformation initiatives by tracking timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies. Work closely with initiative owners and teams to ensure deliverables are progressing on plan, proactively identifying gaps or risks early.

  • Planning & Documentation: Contribute to the development of initiative and project proposals, plans and roadmaps. Ensure materials are aligned to enterprise priorities and clearly articulate objectives, outcomes, and value.

  • Operating Cadence & Reporting: Support governance forums such as the TN Decisions SteerCo and Weekly Exec Decisions (WED) by preparing and ensuring materials are decision focused, pre-reads are of high quality, and outputs are translated into clear action plans and follow-ups. Ensure reporting is not only accurate but insight-driven, clearly surfacing risks, trade-offs, and required decisions. 

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate across business units and functions to align on priorities, timelines, and interdependencies. Proactively identify misalignments, dependency risks, and trade-offs, and work with stakeholders to resolve them.  Escalate conflicts when alignment cannot be achieved. 

  • Financial Tracking & Value Support: Support validation and tracking of value realization, including identifying gaps between plan and forecasts.

  • Issue Identification & Escalation: Proactively identify risks and delivery challenges across workstreams. Support the development of mitigation plans and escalate issues to senior team members to ensure timely resolution.

What you bring

  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and define clear paths to execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in transformation, program management, consulting, or strategic initiatives, with experience supporting cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and support tracking of progress and value realization.

  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies, with strong organization and execution discipline.

  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise materials.

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with demonstrated financial acumen and the ability to link analysis to business outcomes.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actions

  • Stakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaboration

  • Judgment on when and how to escalate issues.

  • Ability to deliver on commitments within the assigned scope

  • Ability to distill complex discussions into clear, actionable outputs (decisions, actions, ownership)

Broadband Salary Range: $64,000.00 – $106,000.00.


Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internalequityand other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
