Job DescriptionJob Title: Associate Manager, Hedge Fund Accounting
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
About the RoleTake on a leadership role at the center of hedge fund operations, where you'll guide a team, oversee NAV and P&L reporting, and ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality financials for sophisticated clients. You'll partner closely with clients and auditors, contribute to new product initiatives, and play a key role in driving operational excellence across complex fund structures. How You Will Make an Impact - Provide coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the client service team
- Review all work product prepared by accounting staff including monitoring and pricing of P&L, NAV's and economic allocations
- Contribute to internal project initiatives regarding new product development, testing and implementation
- Coordinate overall work plan for US client service group accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress
- Manage client relationships and satisfaction
- Establish a plan for new client setups, reorganizations and conversions
- Resolve fund accounting inquiries escalated to a supervisor
- Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to our clients
- Coordinate, manage and monitor the external audit process
- Review client financial statements, partner capital statements and other required financial reporting
Required Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 4+ years' experience in Accounting working for a Fund Administrator in Hedge Funds
- 3+ years' experience supervising others
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Prior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages and options
What Sets You Apart - Master's degree preferred
- CPA/CFA is a plus
- Experience working with allocations and financial statements/audit
- Solid knowledge of corporate actions
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation abilities

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
California: The expected base salary for the position is between $90,000 USD to $140,000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company's discretion.
