Ready to expand institutional distribution for our global liquidity funds?

The Opportunity

This role focuses on distributing HSBC's global liquidity fund range - money market funds and short-duration cash solutions - to financial institution clients across the Americas. You'll support asset origination and relationship management with banks, insurers, pension funds and other institutional cash investors. Working within HSBC Asset Management's Global Liquidity business you'll contribute to a platform managing in excess of US$200bn in assets under management across money market and short duration fixed income strategies. Success means expanding existing relationships, converting new opportunities and delivering net new inflows while maintaining high service standards and strong internal coordination.

What you'll be doing
  • Own and grow a portfolio of financial institution relationships across the Americas region to deliver net new inflows into HSBC's liquidity fund range
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across banks, insurers, asset managers, fintechs and other regulated institutional investors
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients managing day-to-day coverage and service standards
  • Partner with HSBC Bank institutional coverage teams across the Americas to originate opportunities across shared client portfolios
  • Coordinate with product specialists, portfolio managers and legal and compliance teams to align solutions to client mandates and regulatory requirements
  • Represent HSBC at industry conferences, client events and roadshows across the region
  • Maintain market insight on money market trends, regulatory developments and competitor positioning to inform client discussions
  • Produce sales forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM management with accurate, up-to-date data

What we're looking for
  • Bring substantial experience in institutional liquidity sales or equivalent experience across money market funds, liquidity solutions, cash management or fixed income products
  • Demonstrate an established network with financial institutions in Germany and/or Continental Europe
  • Apply a strong understanding of cash and liquidity management and relevant regulatory frameworks including MMF Regulation and Basel III/LCR implications
  • Use relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills to progress opportunities from initial discussion through to mandate conversion
  • Hold relevant licensing and registration as required by FINRA (Series 7 & 66) or bring equivalent demonstrable readiness to obtain it
  • Communicate clearly in writing and in presentations with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner effectively across a matrix environment with global teams to deliver consistent client coverage and execution
  • Manage priorities across a varied pipeline while maintaining a client-focused approach to delivery

Building growth in Global Liquidity

This is an opportunity to help shape how HSBC Asset Management's Global Liquidity business serves financial institution clients across the Americas. You'll work across product, investment and coverage teams to deliver solutions that fit client mandates and regulatory requirements. If you want your work to translate directly into stronger client outcomes and measurable growth you'll find real scope here. Apply to bring your institutional coverage experience to a global liquidity platform with scale and reach.

As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment. You will be empowered to drive HSBC's engagement with the communities we serve through an industry-leading volunteerism policy, a generous matching gift program, and a comprehensive program of immersive Sustainability and Climate Change Initiatives. You'll want to join our Employee Resource Groups as they play a central part in life at HSBC, including the development of our employees and networking inside and outside of HSBC. We value difference. We succeed together. We take responsibility. We get it done. And we want you to help us build the bank of the future!

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
