Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
• 0-3 years experience in project engineering, manufacturing support, nuclear licensing, or similar
• Ability to manage project tasks independently and meet quality standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with nuclear and power generation regulations, especially 10 CFR Part 71 and Part 72
• Preferred knowledge of U.S. NRC guidance and regulatory processes applicable to Part 71 and Part 72

Responsibilities

• Support the design and licensing of new dry fuel storage and transportation systems
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare, review, and maintain documentation for engineering design changes and manufacturing activities
• Interface with cross-disciplinary technical teams at Holtec
• Assist in the preparation and revision of Safety Analysis Reports (SARs)
• Prepare or review evaluations according to 10 CFR 72.48
