About Opportunity The Endpoint Security product team has an immediate opening for an Associate Information Security Engineer.
Work in a dynamic Endpoint Security product team to design, develop, manage and maintain our server Endpoint Detection and Response security tools and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. You will work in an environment with experienced professionals to foster and support the safety of the Federal Reserve's systems. Participates or leads in the development of the security program policies and procedures, as it relates to technical infrastructure design.
What You Will Do:- Supporting the design and implementation of Endpoint Detection/Response and Compliant solutions.
- Supporting the design and implementation of and integration with Security Analytics solutions of multiple data sources
- Deploy and maintain various security tools and systems in a complex hybrid cloud environment
- Work with partners to obtain and translate requirements into technical implementations
- Lead automation efforts to minimize manual work, ensure compliance goals, and support continuous delivery frameworks and tools
- Prepare and execute security test plans, and assess security control effectiveness
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools (Crowdstrike Falcon, Defender ATP, etc.)
- Experience with interpreting the log output of a wide selection of network and host device classes (HIDS, NIDS, Firewalls, Proxies, Routers, Switches, WAF's, Servers, Desktop Controls, Endpoint Protection, etc.)
- Demonstrable ability to solve problems and automate tasks programmatically
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS family, Linux and TCP/IP networking required.
- Strong Technical expertise in systems administration and security tools and knowledge of security practices and procedures required.
- Experience working with CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google)
- Experience with cloud-based security tools (AWS CloudTrail, Azure Sentinel, Google Chronicle)
- Experience with platform automation toolsets (Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, or Terraform)
- Experience with system configuration tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including technology, standards.

- The hiring range is $76,600 - $105,380 annually.
- For candidates located near other National IT locations, outside of Richmond, VA, the listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
