Full Job Description
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce seeks an Associate, Global Markets, to analyze commodities market risk and optimize risk-adjusted revenue. Communicate trade ideas and hedging solutions to the sales desk to support the client franchise. Provide timely and accurate pricing to clients to meet market goals. Utilize programming languages, such as Python and VBA, to develop trading strategies, automate processes, and perform market analysis. Conduct fundamental analysis and regression modeling to build forecasting models. #LI-DNI Position requires a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field and 3 years of experience with preparing quantitative analyses of market risks using Excel and VBA. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with using Python to create trading strategies, automate processes, and perform market analysis; 3 years of experience with preparing daily management updates and performance reports for commodities financial markets; 3 years of experience with using automated systems to support finance teams' operational needs; and 3 years of experience with reviewing SQL queries to ensure accuracy of financial data.
