Full Job Description
The Leonard on Beverly, a Clearwater Living community in Beverly Hills, is seeking a relationship-driven Associate Executive Director to support community operations while championing an exceptional resident and family experience.

This position works closely with the Executive Director and Community Leadership Team to ensure residents feel valued, respected, heard, and connected. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who leads with compassion, accountability, and a commitment to service excellence.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Champion an exceptional resident and family experience throughout the resident journey.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.
  • Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism, empathy, and timely follow-through.
  • Lead effective service recovery and ensure concerns are resolved to the resident's satisfaction.
  • Conduct resident rounding and monitor satisfaction, engagement, and quality-of-life opportunities.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and resolve operational and service issues.
  • Support daily community operations, staffing, training, team engagement, and leadership initiatives.
  • Support occupancy and growth efforts through exceptional customer service and collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
  • Assist with move-ins, resident transitions, events, and community engagement.
  • Support regulatory compliance, resident rights, safety, and risk management.
  • Assist the Executive Director with budgeting, operational performance, and special projects.
  • Serve as Director on Duty or provide leadership coverage as assigned.
  • Model and promote Clearwater Living's Mission, Purpose, Principles, and Core Values.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with resident relations, hospitality, service recovery, or community engagement preferred.
  • Must meet applicable state licensing and educational requirements.
  • RCFE certification/license strongly preferred for California positions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/community management systems preferred.
