The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop Electrical design for Industrial Manufacturing projects, which includes the manufacturing, ag/bio-process, food/beverage, oil refining, and packaging industries.
- Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate initiative.
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, panel schedules, field instrumentation, electrical installation details, and technical specifications.
- Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including process, mechanical, instrumentation and controls, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams.
- Do project studies - Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- EIT/EI, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 1+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
- Consulting and Industrial Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.
- Basic understanding of NEC/NFPA 70 requirements, and hazardous classified area concepts preferred.
- Familiarity with PLC wiring and controls is preferred. PLC programming experience is not required.
- AutoCAD experience.
Minimum Qualifications- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
