Job Title: Associate Director of Social Media & Community

About the Role

We're hiring an Associate Director of Social Media & Community (IC) to scale Kizen's voice through consistent and differentiated programs that build community engagement across YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit, and scaling to other platforms, to ensure Kizen remains at the forefront of the AI conversation.

Working directly with our VP of Product and Content Marketing, you will shape the conversation around agentic AI and the future of enterprise work, creating content that powers engagement across social and community channels. This person will be a self-starter who has a proven track record of driving and executing successful campaigns for B2B environments that have driven increased followers, engaged conversations, improved search ranking improvements and driven inbound opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
  • Social Content Strategy: Adapt company initiatives/campaigns into 360 content programs across social and community environments to build brand awareness and trust. Develop and design calendar for our company pages and founders to elevate our voice as industry thought leaders.
  • Community Management: Proactively monitor social channels and community discussions across platforms, looking for opportunities to provide exceptional service, respond to customer needs and join in critical conversations. Own specific topics within discussion boards (i.e. Threads) that drive community engagement.
  • Channel Planning & Growth: Develop channel-specific strategies that optimize efforts around the right platform for the audience and goal + identify new channels, formats and approaches that grow reach and drive leads.
  • Insight-Driven Approach: Use data as a driver to build strategy and identify high-value topics or content gaps. Track and report on performance, turning metrics into actionable recommendations. Optimize approach based on algorithmic changes and conversion performance across channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing Leads, Executives, Design, Solutions, and FDE teams to align social and community content with broader company strategic initiatives.
  • End-to-End Video Development: Create high-quality, entertaining, and trustworthy video content (Short-Form + Long-Form) that matches our brand's unique voice, balancing the business goals with our brand reputation and surrounding environment.
Required Experience
  • 5-10+ years of B2B marketing experience in social media, community management, or influencer marketing.
  • Proven track record of owning end-to-end social content development, from concept and brief creation to production and campaign playbooks.
  • Strong understanding of community moderation best practices with a track record of building a community around a brand or product
  • Ability to translate complex ideas across diverse formats (video, audio, text) for technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience personally owning social content development end-to-end, with a clear understanding of what it takes to concept, produce, and execute original social content at scale. Deep knowledge of LinkedIn, YouTube and Reddit as primary channels.
  • A strong grasp of social trends for businesses, with the ability to identify how brands can authentically participate in conversations without compromising brand safety or value.
Preferred
  • Proficiency with traditional SEO tools and how AI search impacts content discoverability and vice-versa
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for social-first and culturally ambitious ideas while gaining buy-in from leadership and internal partners.
  • Adaptable and resilient mindset, with the ability to navigate evolving social platform algorithms, tools, and priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience working with founder-led social channels and/or writing for technical or executive audiences

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer generous equity and benefits packages.
