The Team:
As an Associate Director on our Life/Health Insurance team, you will join a supportive and collaborative group of approximately 15 analysts with diverse backgrounds and experiences in the financial services sector. Our team specializes in conducting comprehensive credit analysis for life/health insurance financial strength and debt ratings, working closely with analytical colleagues across the U.S. & Canada. In this role, you will be directly responsible for shaping credit opinions that influence market decisions and investor confidence. Your analytical expertise will drive rating recommendations for assigned insurance entities, while your participation as a voting member of rating committees will help determine outcomes that impact the broader financial services landscape. What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related analytical field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 6+ years of experience in financial statement analysis, accounting concepts and financial modeling, preferably with experience in corporate credit analysis
Ability to think independently and critically with strong integrity, analytical curiosity, problem-solving, and research skills

Compensation/Benefits Information:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $192,000 depending on location, experience, and skills.
