UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Investment Banking Associate in New York, NY

We're looking for an Associate Director, Investment Banking Associate to:
• Create and analyze financial models for financing transactions. Assess and analyze credit risk as the first line of defense.
• Develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward.
• Identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors. Prepare materials and present recommendations to credit committee.
• Assist in syndicating underwritten financing to investors, which requires deep understanding of credit risk. Manage and support the development of junior investment bankers.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement:
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as an Analyst Deals Advisory, Valuation and Modeling, or a related occupation in lieu of Master's degree.

Position requires experience with the following:
• Financial Modeling and Analysis Proficiency like LBO, DCF, and merger models; Financial Valuation Approaches and Methodologies like asset-based, DCF, and comps/market approach; Corporate Finance including capital structure analysis, financial planning and projections and risk management; Accounting and Financial statement analysis including reading income statement, cashflow statement and balance sheet of public and private companies and analyzing related accounting adjustments and rationales; Screening Equity and Debt Capital Markets; Project Management and Deal Execution of various types of transactions such as M&A, public and private capital raises; Preparation of models, presentations, reports and memorandum; Data Room Preparation and Management; Business and Financial Due Diligence; Conducting market and industry research; financial databases and analytical tools such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ; Credit Risk Assessment to analyze company's financial profile and risk exposure to micro and macro-economic conditions.
