Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Events and Meetings Technology, Data and Operations to join our Events and Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Events & Meetings (E&M) Tech, Data & Ops team in optimizing event technology and data models, focusing on continuous enhancement and innovation to align with the firm's evolving business needs; and translate technology strategy into actionable steps and successful outcomes for projects, programs, broader initiatives or complex activities on the organization's technology roadmap with significant impact on the success of the strategic plan
  • Drive and manage event operational strategy and initiatives in alignment with business needs, fostering cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance event experiences
  • Lead recommendations for, prioritization of, and development of data-driven systems and processes, identifying and sharing best practices to move the business forward
  • Guide counselees through identifying resources and opportunities to further career goals and development, encouraging collaboration and communication both with immediate team members and beyond; manage formal performance development milestones, focusing on increasing team engagement and satisfaction, and act as a role model by fostering a positive and developmental team culture
  • Serve as a strategic relationship manager, building and maintaining partnerships with business partners, key stakeholders, vendors, and department leaders to meet strategic priorities, deliver exceptional event experiences, and ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder objectives, event technologies, and data methodologies
  • Assess and address constantly evolving requirements through strategic planning, innovation, and change management
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum six years of recent experience in the Events industry, with a preference for a background in professional services or a corporate events team focused on event planning technology and five years of direct people leadership and team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or six years of equivalent professional experience
  • High-level knowledge of the Cvent strategic meeting management platform
  • Demonstrated experience with event platform integrations, specifically Cvent to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and general experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership and foster a client-focused, team-oriented environment
