Overall Purpose:
The Associate Director, Mobility Go-To-Market — Mid-Markets will lead a team responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing go-to-market acquisition and retention initiatives for mobility solutions across the Mid-Markets customer segment. This role will focus on driving growth, improving customer retention, increasing product penetration, and enabling sales execution across key mobility offerings including postpaid voice, postpaid data, FirstNet, mobile growth initiatives, and small/medium business mobility solutions.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-oriented leader with strong experience in mobility, sales strategy, commercial execution, product marketing, and cross-functional program management. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Finance, Channel Enablement, and Customer Success teams to translate business priorities into actionable market programs.
Key Responsibilities
Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of Mid-Markets mobility go-to-market strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and solution adoption.
- Manage initiatives across key mobility portfolios, including postpaid voice, postpaid data, FirstNet, and targeted medium business growth programs.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, competitive trends, and sales performance gaps to inform GTM priorities.
- Translate product and business strategies into actionable sales motions, campaigns, offers, enablement plans, and field execution programs.
- Partner with Product, Pricing, Marketing, and Sales teams to align offers, promotions, messaging, and channel readiness.
Team Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop a team responsible for mobility GTM programs and sales enablement initiatives.
- Set team priorities, establish performance expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Foster strong collaboration across internal stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality GTM execution.
- Provide guidance on project prioritization, stakeholder management, business case development, and performance tracking.
Acquisition & Retention Programs
- Lead programs designed to acquire new Mid-Markets mobility customers and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Develop retention strategies aimed at reducing churn, improving customer engagement, and increasing renewal performance.
- Support growth in strategic solution areas such as connected devices, mobile data, public safety communications, and business mobility transformation.
- Analyze customer segments, sales funnel metrics, win/loss trends, and retention performance to refine program design.
Sales Enablement & Channel Readiness
- Develop sales enablement materials, playbooks, competitive positioning, talk tracks, and training resources to support field execution.
- Ensure Sales teams are equipped to position mobility solutions effectively with Mid-Markets customers.
- Coordinate launch readiness activities for new offers, campaigns, and product enhancements.
- Partner with sales leadership to gather feedback, address execution barriers, and improve program adoption.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Define success metrics and KPIs for GTM initiatives, including revenue growth, sales pipeline, customer acquisition, retention, churn reduction, product attach, and campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve sales effectiveness, and inform future investment decisions.
- Build executive-level presentations, business cases, and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales strategy, product marketing, business development, commercial operations, or related roles.
- Experience supporting mobility, telecommunications, technology, SaaS, or business services portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
- Experience developing acquisition, retention, or customer growth programs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading teams or managing direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced business degree.
- Experience working with Mid-Market or B2B customer segments.
- Knowledge of wireless mobility solutions, postpaid voice, postpaid data, connected devices, public safety communications, or enterprise mobility services.
- Experience with sales enablement, field marketing, campaign management, or channel strategy.
- Familiarity with CRM, sales performance dashboards, pipeline reporting, and customer lifecycle analytics.
- Strong financial acumen, including business case development, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
