Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Strategy & Prioritization
  • Own the commercial data product portfolio and shape the strategic roadmap for assigned domains; make prioritization recommendations to ensure investments align with enterprise commercial priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Lead prioritization decisions across competing business needs, balancing Business Unit and Regional requirements with enterprise standardization goals.
  • Develop business cases, investment recommendations, value hypotheses, and success metrics for new products, enhancements, and strategic initiatives (including AI-enabled decision-making).
  • Recommend roadmap sequencing, deployment strategies, and resource allocation decisions to maximize business impact and organizational capacity.
  • Drive leadership alignment and secure cross-functional endorsement for product strategies, priorities, and investment decisions.
  • Represent assigned product portfolios within governance processes and executive review forums, effectively communicating recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Establish accountability frameworks that measure success through business outcomes, adoption, and value realization.

Product Model Cells & Value Validation
  • Design, lead, and evaluate Model Cell initiatives (e.g., MVPs, pilots, and proof-of-concept testing) that validate new commercial data and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Define objectives, business hypotheses, success criteria, testing methodologies, and adoption metrics for pilot programs and scaled deployments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams, decision scientists, and technical teams to rigorously test solutions and measure business outcomes.
  • Track pilot performance, adoption trends, user engagement, and realized value to determine scalability and future investment priorities.
  • Continuously refine business cases and roadmap priorities based on measurable results, stakeholder feedback, and evolving commercial needs.
  • Lead successful capabilities through transition from pilot to enterprise-scale deployment, ensuring readiness for global adoption.

Product Management & Delivery Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned commercial data products from opportunity identification and discovery through deployment, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
  • Translate commercial strategies, business priorities, and workflow requirements into actionable product roadmaps and clearly defined product requirements.
  • Own product roadmap commitments and partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Technology teams to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Establish clear product success criteria and performance indicators to ensure products deliver measurable business value.
  • Ensure commercial data products are designed for scalability, sustainability, and adoption across global Business Units and Regions.
  • Maintain active feedback loops with stakeholders and end users to continuously improve product effectiveness and business impact.
  • Hold stakeholders and delivery partners accountable for executing agreed-upon plans, timelines, and outcomes.

Global Standards, Metrics & Semantic Consistency
  • Own metric definitions and business logic for assigned domains, ensuring consistent meaning across dashboards, reports, and models - so that "one metric" means the same thing in every region and business unit.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering to ensure semantic definitions are accurately reflected in governed data layers and standardized consumption patterns.
  • Support the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the commercial business taxonomy (domains, entities, hierarchies) to drive alignment across functions and geographies.
  • Flag and resolve definition conflicts across BUs and Regions, escalating where enterprise-level decisions are required.
  • Contribute to governance processes that allow global standards to coexist with local flexibility - core metric standards plus permitted regional extensions.

Executive Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Influence senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Analytics, and Technology organizations to align on priorities, investments, and strategic outcomes.
  • Develop executive-ready communications, business cases, roadmap reviews, and recommendations for leadership and governance forums.
  • Build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups while effectively managing competing priorities and organizational complexity.
  • Escalate strategic risks, investment decisions, and critical dependencies requiring executive intervention.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision and operating model for Commercial Data Products, helping shape future capabilities and organizational priorities.

Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of experience in product management, commercial analytics, commercial operations, strategy, data products, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-scale product portfolios, strategic initiatives, or business capabilities with accountability for measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience building business cases, influencing executive stakeholders, and driving strategic cross-functional decision-making.
  • Experience delivering data, analytics, digital, or AI-enabled products through the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex global initiatives across teams.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.
  • Comfort working with data platforms, dashboards, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus); ability to speak credibly with both business and technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related). MBA/MS preferred.

Leadership Attributes
  • Business-first mindset: starts with the commercial problem and the behavior change needed, not the technical solution.
  • Global builder: designs products and standards that scale across BUs, regions, and markets - not just for one team or one market.
  • Outcome-oriented: measures success by adoption, impact, and revenue outcomes - not delivery milestones alone.
  • Strong collaborator: builds trust with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Clear communicator: writes and speaks with precision; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and driving crisp alignment.
  • Resilient self-starter: thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments; builds structure and momentum without waiting for perfect conditions.
