Overview

As a Budget Project Manager, you will play an important role as the account and relationship support for all client financial matters between our clients, account management, activation and finance teams. This is a non-traditional role in a fast-paced client services environment, requiring significant attention to detail, precision and top relationship building skills. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to seeing things to closure, along with a sense of urgency, are needed to build credible partnerships with both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Project Management and Communication

Ensure clear progression of related financial tasks across the business

Stewarding new client onboardings and ensuring set up is completed timely and accurately

Serve as a liaison between the client's budget management group and the client team(s) to help coordinate projects across the business

Support strong client relationships by developing outputs for reporting deliverables and trouble-shooting as needed to meet client expectations and those of the Budget Project Management function

Help identify and trouble shoot any issues through the workflow to ensure tasks progress in a timely manner

Attend or lead periodic client-related or departmental meetings

Billing

Establish relationships with client's finance and procurement teams and be the primary point of contact for any client related billing questions

Partner with client teams to ensure POs are received and revised in a timely fashion - Establish and monitor billing practices to ensure they are in accordance with client obligations

Act as the primary support role for all items related to client billing internally

Provide core support for ensuring timely receipt for client payment

Track and maintain clear records of billing activity

Review and support generation of core billing files and upload to client financial systems

Prepare and maintain client financial reporting reports and back up as needed

Reporting and Compliance

Ensure all appropriate documentation and authorizations are received in compliance with policies

Review documentation and workflows to ensure compliance with processes and procedures

Be familiar with and adhere to clients contractual obligations, departmental processes and procedures

Develop and maintain regular financial reports to summarize the state of the account

Review and follow up on key financial reports and ensure outstanding items are addressed on a timely basis by working with internal teams

Develop and maintain agency and client forecasting files

Assist in deliverables related to audit compliance

Enforce operations policies and best practices across the business

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with growing responsibility in Digital media client finance or budget management positions

College degree in Finance or Marketing or equivalent work experience.

Familiarity across Prisma, MediaOcean, Dynamics 365, and Cognos preferred.

Strong ability to develop and foster relationships.

Strong attention to detail, problem solving, developing solutions and troubleshooting.

Strong project management skills.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.New York: $70,000.00-$125,000.00

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
