In this vital role you will play a critical role in shepherding Amgen through a large-scale AI-driven transformation. This role will help guide commercial teams as they evolve from executors of manual, point-in-time processes into stewards of an AI-enabled commercial ecosystem that fundamentally changes how insights, decisions, and capabilities are delivered across Amgen's brands.
This individual will lead value realization for Neural Nexus, partnering closely with analytics, data science, technology, sales, and brand leaders to ensure successful adoption of new AI tools, platforms, and operating models. The role requires a unique blend of change leadership, technical acumen and commercial pharma domain expertise.
Flexible Commuter role in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will work on-site a minimum of 2-3 days a week.AI Adoption Strategy & Transformation Planning- Develop and execute end-to-end adoption and change management strategies to support the Neural Nexus AI transformation across Commercial and Medical
- Translate complex technology and AI initiatives into clear, actionable roadmaps for analytics and business teams.
- Design future-state operating models that enable teams to transition from manual execution to AI-enabled stewardship and decision orchestration.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Enablement- Identify and engage key stakeholders across CD&A sub-functions, including:
- Revenue Forecasting & Competitive Intelligence
- Primary Market Research
- Global Insights
- Data Strategy & Management
- Data & Decision Sciences
- Omnichannel Data & Analytics
- Field Excellence
- Brand Analytics
- Reporting
- Partner with leaders to assess readiness, manage resistance, and build sustained commitment to new ways of working.
- Coach leaders and managers to lead through ambiguity and embed a transformation mindsets within teams.
Communication & Adoption- Create and deliver targeted communication strategies that clearly articulate the "why," "what," and "so what" of AI transformation.
- Ensure communications resonate across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive understanding of how AI tools and platforms enhance-not replace-human decision-making.
Training, Capability Building & Workforce Evolution- Design and support training programs that build AI fluency, platform literacy, and new role capabilities across teams.
- Help redefine roles, skills, and career paths as teams shift toward product ownership, governance, and stewardship models.
- Partner with L&D and functional leaders to ensure capability building is embedded into day-to-day work.
Impact Assessment, Risk Management & Measurement- Assess organizational, role, and workflow impacts of AI and platform changes.
- Identify adoption risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Define and track change success metrics, including adoption, proficiency, and behavioral indicators.
- Support regular updates and insights to senior leadership on progress and risks.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement- Bring out-of-the-box thinking to how AI adoption and change is designed, delivered, and sustained.
- Identify opportunities to pilot new engagement models, tools, or approaches that accelerate adoption and value realization.
- Stay current on AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to commercial analytics and change leadership.

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 3 years of technology enablement, organization change management, strategy consulting, or related experience
OR
Master's degree and 5 years of technology enablement, organization change management, strategy consulting, or related experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of technology enablement, organization change management, strategy consulting, or related experience
OR
Associate's degree and 12 years of technology enablement, organization change management, strategy consulting, or related experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 14 years of technology enablement, organization change management, strategy consulting, or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience supporting large-scale technology and workforce transformations.
- Understanding of commercial Pharma functions, including marketing, sales, insights, analytics, data science, forecasting, and data strategy.
- Familiarity with AI concepts, AI-enabled tools, and data platforms, with the ability to translate technical change into human impact.
- Proven ability to operate as a self-starter, navigate ambiguity, and drive progress without heavy direction.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence capabilities.
- Comfortable working across technical and business teams.
- High emotional intelligence and change leadership presence.
- Ability to balance structure and rigor with creativity and innovation.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
