Job Description:*We welcome ACD-level Copywriter and Art Director TEAMS to apply for our two open ACD roles together.Carmichael Lynch is hiring for an Associate Creative Director, Art Director (ACD/AD) to make and contribute to award-winning creative on our Subaru of America client account. Our ACDs are the heart & soul of the shop. They know the business, have proven experience building client relationships, and can be trusted to lead projects and run productions solo. They can adapt and deliver at the highest level on any brief thrown their way, no matter how big or small. They have excellent craft, can translate feedback with ease, and manage their time well. They know how to examine briefs, know when (and how) to push, and how to show up for their creative directors, integrated teams, and the creatives they oversee on any given project.
Our next Associate Creative Director, Art Director (ACD/AD) knows that they are a reliable pinch-hitter who can balance managing several core client assignments while contributing to ad hoc briefs and new business opportunities. They are all in on delivering career-defining creative work and are excited to contribute their uniqueness to Carmichael Lynch's company culture.
This role will work on all creative advertising mediums: Broadcast, OLV, social, digital, experiential, influencer, and special projects that drive business for our clients.
Craft Skills:- Ability to shape and execute strategic, award-winning creative that helps our clients' push their businesses forward.
- Can seamlessly jump on other clients as a pinch hitter creative to move the needle on conceptual work.
- Expertise with Adobe Suite design tools
- Developing creative management craft- delivering feedback, motivating, teaching, and knowing when to jump in and solve if/when necessary.
- Readiness to help set the bar for creative craft and excellence.
- Knows their clients, knows their briefs, knows their tone, knows their business.
People Skills:- Building client relationships and trust.
- Effortless presentation style with the ability to speak to full-funnel campaign strategy.
- Leader in cross-departmental integration on projects.
- Honed time management skills. Knows how to carve out time for working team projects and balance meetings/reviews/feedback when leading projects.
- Knows how to manage up. Has the trust of CDs/ECDs/CCO to reliably block & tackle internal and client needs across accounts.
- Is a go-to for more junior creatives with the ability to teach and mentor.
Experience:- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in a traditional advertising agency Art Director position. If you're coming with a Designer background, you must have proven experience in your portfolio working as an Art Director on creative campaigns.
- Proven record of concepting, selling, and shipping full-funnel creative work, inclusive of TV, online video, social, influencer, digital, and experiential activations.
- Manager/Supervisor experience welcomed.
- Awarded/Credited work expected.
- Ability to work independently and with a creative partner required.
The salary range for this position is listed below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to budget, relevant experience, qualifications, and tenure in similar roles. Consideration may also be given to internal salary data for current or former employees in the same or similar positions.
Salary Range: $120,000 - 140,000 annually
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
