Job DescriptionThe Associate Corporate Development Director is responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis in support of M&A, in-licensing/out-licensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. This position will lead due diligence activities both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, and interactions with investment banks and external parties. The Associate Director will lead select transactions or support aspects of complex transactions; play a key role in supporting the integration of acquisitions; serve as a primary interface between Corporate Development and Finance to support post-deal analysis, capital raising, and SEC filings; and contribute to the sourcing and evaluation of new innovative pharmaceutical transactions and programs, including financial analysis, competitive landscaping, and IP diligence. Essential Functions- Deliver high-quality financial analysis and valuation modeling of M&A, in-licensing/out-licensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, including whole-company transactions and individual product licensing opportunities.
- Lead due diligence activities both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, etc., and by interacting with investment banks and external parties.
- Serve as a primary interface between Corporate Development and other areas, including Finance, to support post-deal analysis, capital raises, SEC filings, etc., and Supply Chain to support product transitions and launches.
- Play a key role in supporting the integration of acquisitions by working with functional leads at Amneal and the acquired company.
- Lead select transactions or support aspects of complex transactions.
Additional Responsibilities- Frequent travel to visit offices, industry conferences, and counterparties.
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required
- Master's Degree (MS/MA) Finance preferred
Experience- 5 years or more experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Development focused on health care transactions required
- 5 years or more experience supporting M&A and/or licensing transactions in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
The base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 - $185,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
