Full Job Description
While working on our small legal team, you'll gain experience in many areas of the law and work with various business unit leaders. We are seeking a talented attorney for the following hybrid position.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Perform routine legal work
• Effectively partners with more experienced attorneys on complex/significant matters
• Interest and ability to learn business issues
• Provide support to the businesses
• Assist with corporate governance and formalities
• Manage corporate licenses
• Draft and review agreements
• Legal and business issue spotting
• Support more experienced attorneys with contract negotiations
• Legal research and presentation on regulatory, compliance, privacy, litigation, or other legal matters
• Assist with litigation and subpoenas
• Support diligence or integration in M&A
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Location and Physical Requirements:
• Hybrid; report to Minneapolis office once per week
• When remote (access to reliable internet connection required)
• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • U.S. law degree
  • 1-year legal experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient at legal research
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with a team

The base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
