Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an accredited university.
• Membership in a Canadian provincial or territorial law society.
• 2+ years of experience as tech legal counsel, either in-house or at a law firm.
• Strong negotiating skills with legal and business counterparts.
• Experience negotiating various tech agreements (NDA, SaaS, EULA, etc.).
• Ability to build trustful relationships with internal clients.
• Demonstrated sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
