What is the opportunity?

Join RBC Investor Services as a Associate, Client Insight, will be managing client initiatives from conception through successful implementation. This role combines client engagement, requirements analysis, and cross-functional coordination to deliver tangible value while deepening RBC's understanding of client needs and strengthening partnership relationships.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end delivery of client-sponsored projects and initiatives, ensuring projects are scoped accurately, and delivered with excellence. This includes acting as the primary client interface while orchestrating internal resources and external partners to achieve project objectives

What will you do?
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client-funded projects
  • Conduct detailed scoping sessions to understand project objectives, success criteria, timelines, and resource constraints
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings to establish expectations, governance, and communication protocols
  • Lead comprehensive requirements gathering sessions or discovery sessions with client stakeholders to business objectives and desired outcomes, current state processes and pain points and desired future state workflows and capabilities
  • Translate client requirements into business requirements for RBC teams (operations, technology, data, product)
  • Evaluate RBC's product offerings against client needs, and if applicable, communicate solution options and recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams across multiple functions and assess feasibility and identify implementation approach and identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Engage external vendors or technology partners required to deliver the project and facilitate client sign-off and acceptance of completed deliverables


What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:
  • 5+ years in Asset Servicing or Asset Management
  • Proven track record creating and executing digital adoption strategies
  • Strong understanding of data requirements, including data governance, reporting, analytics, and translating business needs into actionable data solutions
  • Proven experience working directly with asset managers and C-suite stakeholders with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively across senior leadership teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
