Join Macquarie's Business Operational Risk Management team supporting the Specialized Asset Finance business within Commodities & Global Markets. As an Associate within Business Operational Risk, you will provide independent operational risk oversight and advisory support to the Specialized Asset Finance business across the Americas. You will partner with front-office teams and corporate support functions to identify emerging risks, assess the effectiveness of controls, and help drive proactive risk management practices.
This role involves reviewing new business initiatives, transactions, and change activities to ensure operational risks are appropriately identified and managed before implementation. You will also lead risk assessments, incident reviews, control assurance activities, and governance reporting while supporting the ongoing execution of the firm's operational risk management framework.

- Experience in operational risk management, non-financial risk, business controls, audit, compliance, or a related risk discipline within financial services.
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, including risk assessments, control testing, issue management, and governance processes.
- Knowledge of capital markets, commodities, asset finance, structured finance, banking, or related financial products.
- Experience reviewing new business initiatives, transactions, product approvals, or change management activities from a risk and control perspective.
Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $140,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
