Job Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions aligned with project requirements, leveraging coding best practices and version control tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications. Continue to advance BlackRock’s API & Event strategy, governance, and maintainability. Review pull requests as a Subject Matter Expert and provide feedback to maintain code quality and design standards. Regularly review and manage assigned incident queues in ServiceNow and Developer Community communication channel. Provide timely responses or escalate issues to appropriate teams when necessary. Acknowledge and respond promptly to PagerDuty alerts and incident notifications. Post updates and coordinate resolutions for production and pre-production incidents. Participate in disaster recovery exercises and platform validation activities to ensure system reliability and continuity.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience as an Analyst or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Full stack development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, GoLang and Python; Software Engineering concepts (memory management and data structures); Writing CI/CD pipelines utilizing build tools; Knowledge of APIs and proxies including REST, Resource Oriented Design, NGINX, and Open API Specification; UNIX and Linux; Full software development lifecycle; Git source code management; and Observability Tooling (Grafana and Splunk). Must have one (1) year of experience with: Cloud Concepts (Azure and AWS); Docker and Kubernetes; Apache Kafka; and NPM toolchain.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$145,000.00 - USD$162,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
