Job Duties: Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment. Contribute to development of Aladdin's global, multi-asset trading platform. Architect and drive development of new platform features, set technical direction. Identify issues and roadblocks and escalate to senior engineers. Proactively resolve technical issues, remove blockers for the team, and optimize processes. Apply validated quality software engineering practices (unit tests, code reviews). Ensure resilience and stability through regression and user acceptance testing. Oversee testing strategy, drive automation and performance testing. Provide level two production support. Own production support, incident management, and post-mortem analysis. Individual contributor to features on a project assigned by managers. Document code and processes. Individually own and drive small scale projects, collaborating with business stakeholders at both design and coding levels, and presenting results to leadership. Develop and maintain technical documentation, onboarding materials, and training resources.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area, and 48 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role. Position requires four years of experience in the following: Python and related technologies with Object Oriented skills and design patterns; Experience working with Python core libraries and concepts; Concurrent programming and designing high throughput, high availability, fault tolerant distributed applications; Building modern software using git, unit testing, integration testing, and mocking frameworks; Analytical and software architecture design skills, including test driven development; Building distributed applications using SQL or NOSQL technologies, including MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra, or Redis; Algorithms, Optimization, or related quantitative processes; Relational databases; and Financial or Investment Industry experience. Position requires two years of experience in the following: Message brokers; Using high scale distributed technology including Kafka, Mongo, Ignite or Redis; Building microservices and APIs using REST, Kafka, or gRPC; and Artificial Intelligence.

Salary: $135000 - 148,000
