Associate AttorneyStarting Salary: $145,000 - $167,000Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters, focusing on Insurance Coverage Defense, Environmental Litigation, Transportation / Trucking Defense and Corporate / Business / Corp. Real Estate.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft contracts, legal briefs, and other documents as needed
- Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Provide clients with legal advice and updates on case progress
- Participate in environmental litigation and transportation defense cases
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar license in good standing
- 4+ years of experience in litigation and contract law
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and legal writing
- Experience in client representation and negotiation
- Familiarity with arbitration and mediation processes
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
