The Associate Art Direct for Dr.Jart+ will work in direct partnership with our Seoul- based global team to bring the brand to life in North America. The AAD will oversee art direction and design for the brand across all digital content, paid and owned content and ensure consistency across all consumer touch points.
DESCRIPTION:The Associate Art Director collaborates with copywriters, marketers and other cross-functional team members to ensure all visual assets align with the brand's identity and project goals. The ideal candidate will possess an ability to understand and refine on a strong brand vision, excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, while working both independently and in a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee art direction and design for paid and organic social content, digital and email/CRM, print mailers and out of home OOH, launches and key brand moments
- Design and produce high-quality visual assets for print, digital, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives
- Protect and steward the Dr.Jart+ Global brand vision and voice, while also leveraging and interpreting the global toolkit for North America regional needs.
- Concept and design email marketing campaigns
- Possess strong knowledge of all interactive technologies and tools to ensure feasibility and delivery of design projects.
- Design, execute & be able to give direction on certain elements of the site to include: promotional updates, headers, small graphics and seasonal corporate imagery
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional team to ensure that the needs of the group are being communicated clearly, that content fits within the design parameters and supports the project goals, and all deadlines are met
- Manage monthly regional product editorial photo shoot and associated budget
- Effectively present initial creative concepts and communicate functionality
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree (or comparable work experience)
- 5+ years of design experience
- Strong knowledge of latest web and traditional design standards
- Ability to stay on top of trends and new social platforms/trends
- Advanced knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
- Knowledge of CMS, JavaScript, CSS protocol preferred
- Experience working for a retail or fashion brand is preferred
- Good understanding of email marketing standards, interactive design principles, usability and online branding issues
- Skillfully handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines
Pay Range:The anticipated base salary range for this position is
$87,550.00to $143,800.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
