Responsibilities

  • Support clients in creating and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns and projects, including AI-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Project Management, Strategy, Creative, and Production to ensure client directives are clearly conveyed.
  • Manage project progress autonomously while ensuring communication across teams and understanding production processes.
  • Present campaigns and project updates to clients at various organizational levels, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects that meet or exceed client expectations and remain within budget constraints.
  • Contribute to crafting and refining creative briefs, gathering necessary information from clients, and coordinating schedules with project managers.
  • Assist in managing timelines and production requirements, including obtaining approvals and participating in content shoots.
  • Capture and translate client feedback accurately for the team, ensuring their voice is integral to the project execution.
  • Communicate client priorities and concerns effectively to team members through verbal and written methods.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Associate Account Director will be responsible for partnering with the Global Client Lead to manage the global agency partnership within a portfolio of clients. The Associate Account Director will work in tight partnership with the creative and strategy leads; both internally and with external agency partners.

The role combines strategic, client, team, and overall business management. This role will have responsibility for the health and growth of the client partnership; for the delivery of our work across multiple industries; and being a respected thought leader and collaborate with various marketing partners, other client leads, and other agency partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support clients by enabling them to develop and deliver holistic campaigns, innovative projects (AI-driven), and provide advice regarding change management.
  • Work closely with various internal teams (i.e. Project Management, Strategy, Creative, Production) and ability to communicate clear client direction to those teams.
  • Ability to drive projects forward autonomously with consultation of team leads, being able to bridge communication gaps, manage project development while bringing a strong understanding of the production process.
  • Presenting to client audiences at the Manager, Director and Executive level.
  • Ensure work is meeting client needs/expectations and delivered in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Contribute to writing creative briefs; ensure that all information necessary for successful completion of the project is gathered from the client, works with project managers to ensure that the client's schedule requirements are met for each project.
  • Assist with creative production requirements and managing timelines including briefing, obtaining internal and external approvals on work and attend content shoots.
  • Responsible for budgeting tasks such as creation of estimates, scope of work and budget tracking.
  • Ensures the client's voice is heard and understood by capturing and translating accurate client input and feedback, and providing that information to the team.
  • Able to communicate client priorities, direction, and concerns to the team in verbal and written form.
  • Collaboration and integration with partner agencies and various client stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to grow existing business.
  • Job requires some travel as well as the potential for evening and/or weekend work (specific to content shoots or events).


REQUIREMENTS
  • 8 to 10 years of Account Management experience, ideally within an agency setting
  • Experience working on various types of marketing (print, video, digital and web)
  • Revenue management skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with internal teams and external clients
  • Drive to deliver innovation and effective application of technologies
  • Curiosity for continued improvement
  • Strong use of data for optimization (effectiveness and efficiency)
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Willingness to wear many hats while giving team members autonomy and support

Reports to: Global Client Lead
Location: NYC- This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days a week in office
The Salary Range for this role is $100k to $120k

US Pay Range

$100,000-$120,000 USD
