What you'll be doing...Key Responsibilities & Core Duties
Strategic Leadership & Interconnect Program Management
Drive Market Connectivity: Leading the budgeting, strategy, and execution for all RAN (Radio Access Network) interconnect solutions across the market, including Microwave upgrades, fiber conversions, and network uplifts.
Team & Vendor Oversight: Directing a high-performing team of engineers, vendors, partners, and contractors to ensure seamless network connectivity, strong vendor management, and compliance with company standards.
Capital & Program Management: Overseeing contract submissions, business cases, RFPs, Fiber Access Build management, and integration with the 1ERP program.
Network Capacity, Fiber & Operations Execution
Circuit & Fiber Delivery: Coordinating dark fiber and Ethernet Backhaul (EBH) installations between vendors and operations personnel. Tracking progress, communicating status, and escalating issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Capacity & Trend Planning: Maintaining EBH capacity across assigned cell sites to meet customer demand while optimizing costs. Preparing and distributing weekly capacity reports featuring trended data over time.
Network Optimization & Remediation: Proactively identifying and replacing problematic EBH solutions with reliable, cost-effective alternatives. Maintaining path, switch, geographic, and vendor metrics to devise optimal routing schemes that prevent service degradation.
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Standards & Documentation: Maintaining an accurate circuit inventory, uphold key performance indicators (KPIs), and producing thorough network documentation in accordance with corporate standards and practices.
Tool & Process Development: Partnering with IT/NS to drive automated tool improvements. Establishing clear Methods and Procedures (M&Ps) for operations and vendor teams to standardize changes.
Cross-Functional Communication: Crafting clear, effective communications for peer groups regarding critical network migrations, system updates, and future enhancements (such as eNSE migrations).
What we’re looking for…You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
• Experience in managing teams.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
• A valid driver's license.

• Enthusiasm for technology and networking.
• CND/Granite/XNG/GIS Experience.
• Disaster recovery.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changes.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
