Associate Director Data Product Management

Job Description

In this Associate Director Data Product Management role, you will be part of the DHH Commercial Data Solutions team and lead Digital Product Management capabilities role, driving shaping and delivery of impactful solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across our Company's commercial digital marketing division for Global stakeholders

As subject-matter expert in commercial analytics data domains, you will leverage your expertise and apply techno-functional skills to shape and execute digital data products, drive a portfolio of digital data solutions initiatives and partner with delivery teams to enable use cases across the DHH portfolio. In addition, you will also lead a team of highly talented individuals working on multiple data products and use cases, providing thought leadership and guidance to drive results and enable their success.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead team to manage life cycle of digital data product, including use case identification, discovery all the way to development and maintenance.
  • Translate use cases into implementation roadmaps to deliver high quality data products
  • Establish common performance expectations and processes for data product owners, data analysts and scrum masters.
  • Leverage data domain knowledge to shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap of domain level analytics ready datasets.
  • experience in large scale multi country program rollout with cross divisional and market stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking, risk management, and roadmap planning for data product evolution
  • Ensure implementation of Agile principles and best practices to continuously adapt to evolving business needs and user feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendor partners to shape the overall staffing strategy and continuously ensure high quality deliverables and optimized return on investment for the respective domain programs
  • Demonstrate and role model key leadership behaviors, including: cross-functional and inclusive leadership, assertiveness and swift decision-making, active listening and strategic thinking
  • Native AI/Gen AI mindset that continuously look at the way a data product is being built and optimize the process utilizing the full extent of the technology stack and advancements that are available and ensure the data products being built are Gen AI ready from the outset


Education:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or related field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc.)


Required:
  • Digital and Marketing data domain knowledge in commercial space in biopharma industry is a must to have.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated expertise in data and analytics solutions including a solid technical understanding of tools and architecture.
  • Strong experience in building data products and capabilities using agile approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Dynamic problem solving skills in diverse and global matrix organization (across Time zones)
  • Experience managing portfolios of initiatives, tracking performance and managing risks, issues and escalations
  • Knowledge of data analysis and data & analytics use cases and capabilities
  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and strong knowledge of scrum execution
  • Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to navigate complex teams and highly-matrixed environments


Preferred:
  • Analytics experience in commercial insights generation in biopharma industry is preferred.

The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
