Job Overview:The AVP, Strategy Activation will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, execution, and continuous improvement of LPL Access Portfolios (LAP), LPL's multi-custody platform. This role will serve as the operational owner of the program, ensuring the successful delivery of advisor onboarding, governance, billing oversight, service coordination, operational controls, reporting, and vendor management. Working closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Service, Supervision, Compliance, Operations, Compensation, and Technology, the AVP will drive operational excellence while helping scale LAP from a pilot operating model into an enterprise capability. The role will act as the central point of coordination for ongoing program execution, allowing senior leadership to focus on strategic direction, growth initiatives, and long-term platform evolution. The current LAP operating model includes responsibilities across operations, service, management, and strategy and requires additional dedicated ownership to support growth and scalability.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the operational owner of the LPL Access Portfolios (LAP) program, overseeing day-to-day execution, performance management, risk identification, issue resolution, and operational readiness.
- Lead the end-to-end advisor lifecycle, including intake, eligibility review, onboarding, approvals, participation monitoring, and support for M&A-related transitions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, strengthen operational controls, improve advisor experience, and support future program growth.
- Maintain and evolve program governance, policies, procedures, operating rhythms, and supervisory requirements to ensure a controlled and sustainable operating environment.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, Service, and Compensation teams to ensure effective execution, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee key operational processes including billing oversight, reconciliations, refunds, access administration, vendor management, and quality assurance activities.
- Manage governance committee activities, including reporting, performance reviews, action-item tracking, escalations, and advisor approval processes.
- Monitor program KPIs, operational metrics, and service outcomes to identify trends, mitigate risks, and inform leadership decision-making.
- Serve as the primary business liaison for internal stakeholders and external partners, coordinating issue resolution, operational enhancements, and program implementation activities.
- Provide business management support for LAP, including capacity planning, executive reporting, strategic recommendations, and accountability for achieving program objectives and growth priorities.

Requirements:- 7+ years of experience in wealth management, advisor platform operations, program management, business management, or related functions
- Orion Advisor Technology software
- Understanding of advisory platforms, custody relationships, onboarding, supervision, billing, or advisor operations
- Stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $114,124.00 - $190,138.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
