TITLE: Assistant Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Assistant Project Manager will report directly to a Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for working with a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients, to understand the goals and direction of the company and lead their team to generate profits.
  • Track costs to complete and ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify trends within CTC that may lead to fade or gain.
  • Assist with building and tracking long term manpower projections.
  • Attend jobsite pre-con and coordination meetings with project managers.
  • Attend all high-risk turnover meetings and assist with managing and tracking high risk projects. Provide feedback to the Project Managers.
  • Assist with training of new employees.
  • Assist with building and providing hours reports for foremen.
  • Receive and track weekly field reports. This is to include safety / toolbox reports, preconstruction, daily and weekly production report and any project specific reports.
  • Enter budgets from OPS hard cost into accounting software. Make notes of fade/gain from estimated hard cost and report to the Project Managers.
  • Ensure that job processes are followed in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure company contractual standards are being met prior to performing work.
  • Recognize and track the progress of employees, and properly nominate individuals for promotions and/or incentive bonuses.
  • Assist with recruiting and interviewing prospective employees and make recommendations.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and punctual.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
  • Must be professional in appearance and speech.
  • Experience with government facilities a plus.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
