As our new
Assistant Project Manager, you will be providing organizational, administrative, and technical support to the Project Team-helping drive orders from point of sale through delivery while interfacing with vendors, internal teams, and customers to deliver world-class service at every phase. What you will be doingAs a key part of the Project Execution team, you'll create impact by Coordinating cross-functional efforts across purchasing, production, and logistics to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery for our customers.
Your main responsibilities include:- Drive and execute order requirements to planned deadlines by coordinating with purchasing, production, service, and logistics teams to meet customer delivery commitments
- Maintain project documentation in SharePoint, including drawings, quality documents, schedules, vendor submittals, progress reports, and packing lists
- Support Project Managers and Project Engineers with customer submittals, revision control, and fabrication drawing distribution to the production team
- Communicate with vendors for quotes, status updates, and technical questions as directed by the Project Manager or Engineer
- Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement in the Project Execution Process, encouraging on-time submittals and accurate production documentation
- Assist in maintaining certifications for third-party entities such as State Modular Certification and ETL/UL Listings, including documentation submittals and communication with certification agents
What makes you a great fitAbove all, you are an organized, proactive professional with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously, and a genuine interest in engineered-to-order manufacturing and project coordination.
We would also imagine that you have:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical field-or equivalent experience in engineered-to-order manufacturing, project coordination, or rotating equipment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Pro
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, submittals, and change orders in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer and vendor interactions
It is a plus if you also:- Experience with ERP/SAP systems
- Understanding of pumps, motors, controllers, and package systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings, data sheets, and specifications

The salary range for this position is $68,000-$94,585 (exempt). Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in
