Assistant Project ManagerPosition OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position involves collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project tasks and activities
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management
- Help manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure financial compliance
- Facilitate meetings and document meeting minutes for project discussions
- Identify potential risks and issues and support the project manager in developing mitigation strategies
- Support the procurement process by coordinating with vendors and suppliers as needed
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in project management or a related role
- Strong understanding of commercial project management practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
