Position Description:
The Department of Psychology of McGill University invites applicants for a tenure-track appointment in SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, though exceptional candidates at higher rank may be considered, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027.

Job Duties:
Candidates are expected to demonstrate the potential to establish a record of significant, externally funded research. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and supervision/mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are particularly interested in applicants who complement our existing expertise in identity and social relations, as well as those who use interdisciplinary and/or innovative technological approaches, but applicants from all research areas within social psychology will be considered .

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
The successful candidate must hold a PhD by August 1, 2027.
