Are you a good match?

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of two years' experience in a merchandising or supply chain role required, preferably in luxury goods. You will have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel; Previous knowledge of SAP is a plus. The candidate will need to have solid analytical skills and strong aptitude to work with figures; you will also have a high level of emotional intelligence and maturity.

What are we expecting from you?

The Assistant Manager Merchandising Operations is responsible for ensuring the appropriate positioning of all jewelry, timepieces, accessories and sales-necessary products, overseeing their seamless distribution and transfer within the network. He/she acts as the central point of contact for commercial teams, supporting the achievement of sales targets.

The position is based in our New York office and reports to the Director, Merchandising Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the commercial strategy by ensuring proper product placement and model stock depths within the boutique network and for online retail. Propose and execute thoughtful, strategic inventory rebalancing.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with commercial teams and regional management, acting as the primary contact for all merchandising inquiries.
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines by all commercial teams, monitoring key KPIs related to transfers and client orders.
  • Ensures accurate fulfillment of specific distribution needs including new launches, boutique openings, consignments and ad hoc shipments, ensuring accurate system entry and timely delivery.
  • Manage order process and distribution of packaging and other sales accessories.
  • Fulfill wholesale partner needs by answering and shipping sold order availability requests and preparing bi-monthly model stock shipments.
  • Provide insightful feedback on boutique stock requests, packaging, model stock request adjustments, seasonality, etc. to Planning team, Merchandising Director, Marketing & VM
  • Supports overall merchandising strategies and initiatives, ad hoc projects as necessary.
