You are passionate about making games, and will help plan and guide the delivery of live gameplay improvements and experiences, by improving quality, and delivering updates in gameplay across the live game. You will collaborate with production and design leaders to shape the live gameplay based on player and community feedback. Producers are the bridge between design, engineers, animators, partner teams and project managers. They oversee what experiences we build, why we build them, and how we deliver them to our players. This team works onsite in Vancouver 3 days/week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Responsibilities
You Will:
- Assess and prioritise live gameplay issues using player impact, risk, severity, and fix complexity, making clear go/no-go calls.
- Partner with other Producers to deliver feature quality through patch/live changes for high priority areas.
- Support the coordination between the Gameplay team, FC teams, central EA groups, and publishing for live operations, approvals, and releases.
- Manage risk, dependencies, and trade-offs making data-informed calls when priorities shift or issues arise.
- Become an expert on the game and our community, drawing from our large, varied player base to balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
- Assist Lead Producers by communicating progress, challenges, and priorities within your team throughout development.
- You will report to the Production leader of the team.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience working on a live service product, with relevant experience in production, product management, quality verification or game design.
- Good eye for game quality and advocate for the end-user experience.
- Strong sense of execution, deadlines, and quality standards for features to ensure features are delivered at a high level, on time, and within budget.
- Experience writing reports, giving presentations and working on a collaborative environment.
- You demonstrate confidence in sharing your voice, upholding best practices, and holding yourself and others accountable to a high standard.
- You embrace challenges and enjoy working through difficult problems.
- You have experience with soccer/football or other sports - whether recreationally or competitively.
- A love for football and the FC series is an asset for this position.
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$77,700 - $107,900 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
