Assistant General Manager - Transit
The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in directing the passenger transit operations. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ. The Assistant General Manager is responsiblefortheday-to-dayoperationsofthecontract,facility,andsafetyofpersonnelandpassengers,customer service, and managing the financials.

Qualifications:
- HighSchoolDiplomaorGEDrequired
- Bachelor'sdegreeorequivalentinBusinessAdministration,Logistics,Transportationorrelatedfield preferred.
- 5+7yearsofsupervisoryormanagement-levelexperienceinthepassengertransportationindustry
- Knowledgeofrelevantfederalandstateemploymentlaws
- Thoroughknowledgeoflaws,ordinances,andregulationsunderlyingthetransitoperation
- Thoroughknowledgeofthemethodsofoperationofthetransitsystem'sstaffandoperationaldepartments
- Abilitytodealwithstateandlocalgovernment
- Abilitytomanagecostcontrolandfinancial/budgetexperience,handlingmultiplelocations
- WorkingknowledgeandproficiencywithMicrosoftWord,Excel,andPowerPointprograms
- Strongwrittenandoralcommunicationskills;excellentpresentationskills;abilitytoinfluencepeopleatall levels of the organization
- Abilitytoorganizeandperformworkefficiently;strongattentiontodetails
- AbilitytonavigateLaborRelationsissuesandworkeffectivelywithunionpartners,includinglabor grievances and negotiations.
- Mustbeabletoworkshiftsorflexibleworkschedulesasneeded.
