Assistant Facilities Manager- JLL

What this job involves:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager at JLL, you'll be the go-to person delivering top-notch facility management services that directly impact our client's success and our team's performance. This role combines tactical facility operations with strategic program development, requiring someone who can seamlessly manage day-to-day operational expenditures while helping us exceed client expectations at every turn. You'll work closely with our Facility Management Team, providing facility-specific assistance and expertise in soft service operations while serving as a key interface with clients, visitors, and vendors. You'll develop innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs and increase productivity while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, KPIs, and Service Level Agreements. This is a vital role where your expertise in facilities management, vendor coordination, and emergency response planning will shape the future of how we deliver exceptional service.

What your day-to-day will look like:
• Oversee and manage Work Orders in the client's CMMS system (Corrigo), ensuring timely resolution and appropriate follow-up with customers
• Provide general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of the campus and after-hours facilities assistance response
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, special events, meetings, and conference room reservations in support of the client and JLL operations
• Develop monthly and quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets, assisting with budgetary requests, analysis, and financial tracking
• Monitor overall service delivery of vendor partners, coordinate resolution of service issues, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure commitments are met
• Support compliance with JLL's audit standards, enforce safety policies and training requirements, and implement hazard control practices in alignment with local codes
• Update and implement Emergency Response plans, conduct operational audits, and manage escalation of incidents and problems as they arise

Required qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years of experience in facility management with demonstrated expertise in soft service operations
• Proven ability to manage operational expenditures, develop budget variance reports, and analyze financial performance
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of safety compliance, emergency response planning, and operational risk management practices

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), specifically Corrigo or similar platforms
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a client-facing environment
• Background in developing and implementing innovative programs that reduce operating costs and increase operational efficiency

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Estimated compensation for this position:

66,400.00 - 96,200.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
