Miss A is looking to hire an energetic and diligent full-time
Assistant Corporate Controller to join our expanding team at our Headquarters located in Dallas, Texas! In this role, the candidate will support the Corporate Controller in leading the accounting function and financial reporting across multiple entities. This role is a key partner in the monthly close, consolidated reporting, internal controls, and developing the accounting team.
Responsibilities- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Oversee general ledger, revenue, inventory, cost of goods sold, accounts payable, intercompany accounting, and account reconciliations
- Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related consolidation adjustments
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures
- Coordinate external audits, tax support, investor reporting, and lender requirements
- Support ERP implementation and accounting process improvements
- Help lead and develop the accounting team and support the Controller and CFO with financial reporting, and Accounting to resolve inventory and cost discrepancies
- Other duties as required
Requirements- BA degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
- 6-8 years' accounting experience, including accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, monthly close, and consolidated financial reporting
- Experience with multi-entity and inventory-based businesses
- Professional & proficiency in Korean and English required
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- CPA and NetSuite experience preferred
- Retail, wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce experience preferred
