JOB SUMMARY:The Grizzly Assistant Controller reports to the Grizzly BU Controller and supports Grizzly and BNB staff with accounting and finance needs. Additionally, the Assistant Controller provides added support to the BNB Controllers group
SALARY RANGE: $110,000-125,000 annually (Seattle region)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Coordinate monthly financial close.
- Act as financial lead for system migration and integration efforts.
- Reconcile, process, and report monthly/quarterly sale/business taxes.
- Maintain accurate addition/disposal records of all capitalized assets/liabilities and related depreciation/amortization and any gains/losses upon disposal.
- Develop annual budget and update monthly forecasts.
- Reconcile and/or review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Develop ad-hoc reporting utilizing CMiC, Sage 100 and BI data tools.
- Track and coordinate timely compilation of all audit related documentation and related responses.
- Identify solutions to discrepancies in financial records.
- Work with stakeholders across Grizzly to create internal controls and policies.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Seven years of hands-on accounting and managerial experience
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Demonstrated advanced excel and database experience
- ERP and Systems integration experience a plus
- An ability to work with and solicit cooperation from individuals in a variety of roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A respect for confidential data and an ability to maintain that confidentiality.
- A sense of confidence in oneself, curiosity to learn and grow your understanding of our industry, and the willingness to advocate for improvements.
