Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing safety programs across multiple sites.
  • Implement consistent safety and recognition programs among all employees.
  • Direct the forecasting and budgeting processes for operational areas.
  • Advise on budget adjustments in collaboration with management and finance teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts at each site.
  • Prepare and consolidate weekly reports for the Regional Manager.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage the QBR (Quarterly Business Review) schedule for the area.
  • Devise plans for the efficient utilization of resources and staff.
  • Train and guide employees on communication technologies and operational supplies.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintain quality standards for assigned accounts.
  • Frequent site visits to inspect accounts and enhance customer relations.
  • Support supervisors in meeting both customer and company specifications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for site inspections.

Position at SBM Management

The Assistant Area Manager will be responsible for managing company programs and area staff to ensure compliance with contract duties between company and customer.
Responsibilities

  • Assist with overall safety programs for each site within area of responsibility
  • Implement/standardize employee safety, attendance, and recognition programs for all sites
  • Manage and provide direction in preparation of forecast and budgets
  • Provide recommendations on budget modifications to local management and or Corporate Finance
  • Assist with maintaining one on one relationship with key customer contacts at each site
  • Consolidate and provide weekly site reports to Regional Manager
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled site audits with staff and key customer contacts
  • Schedule and manage QBR calendar for responsible area
  • Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
  • Review and provide training, direction on employee communication, InSite, supplies and equipment purchases
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities for a specified area
  • Inspect all assigned accounts and visit customers as frequently as possible
  • Assist supervisors to ensure performance to customer and SBM specifications are met
  • Some travel will be required for this position
