• Develop client relationships and win new custom model mandates through consultative engagement with the goal of understanding client investment needs and proposing appropriate portfolio solutions
• Share MAS views on macro and markets, becoming an essential partner and key input to RIA investment teams
• Partner with distribution channels, senior MAS portfolio managers, portfolio sales specialists, research, and marketing teams to drive business opportunities from capability pitch through model delivery, content strategy, and sales activation
• Serve as a GSAM custom models expert by delivering portfolio construction expertise, advisor education, and timely market insights in client meetings, webinars, and industry events, including RIA conferences

Client Engagement
• Drive commercial outcomes through client engagement, including client calls/meetings and creating and delivering client proposals
• Serve as the product expert and point of contact on GSAM custom models for clients and sales partners in the field
• Partner with GSAM research teams, portfolio managers, sales specialists, and marketing to prepare model portfolio materials, including trade alerts, quarterly commentaries, CIO notes, and market-driven content
• Develop deep understanding of industry landscape, trends and client business needs to tailor comprehensive solutions that deliver the best of Goldman at scale
• Conduct competitive analyses and market research, keeping leadership apprised of notable developments

Investment Content and Thought Leadership
• Represent the MAS custom models platform in client meetings from pitch to portfolio launch as well as in ongoing client servicing
• Partner with client CIOs and investment teams through due diligence on MAS and its investment process, lead custom model portfolio design efforts, and coordinate across portfolio management and sales teams to facilitate onboarding and sales activation
• Lead client meetings as a custom models expert by delivering portfolio construction expertise, education, and timely market insights
• Coordinate with portfolio management, research, sales, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality portfolio collateral and client-ready materials
• Participate in industry and client events, such as RIA conferences, including as a speaker to promote the GSAM partnership and drive adoption of our custom models
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, internal research teams, sales, and marketing to create thought leadership and determine the most effective delivery format, including webinars, blog posts, white papers, and client presentations
• Develop custom model content for the financial advisor community and craft commercial narratives that support the models specialist sales team
• Work closely with MAS CIOs and research teams to create timely, market-driven content around major market and macroeconomic events
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across investments, marketing, sales, and technology to advance the custom models business

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8 to 12+ years of relevant experience
• Asset Management / Models experience a must
• Experience crafting model portfolio marketing narratives for a retail financial advisor audience
