About the Role

The Morningstar DBRS U.S. Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) team isseekinga highly motivatedSenior Analyst, or Assistant Vice President to support rating activities across the ABS platform. Based in New York and working as part of the Global Structured Finance team, this role will contribute to the analytical, operational, and regulatory activitiesrequiredto assign andmonitorratings, develop rating methodologies, and publish market research.

Working closely with lead analysts and sector leadership, the successful candidate will support the analysis of new-issue transactions while contributing to a broad range of activities that underpin the rating process, including data analysis, methodology development, rating committee preparation, disclosure reporting, research, and process improvement initiatives.

This position offers exposure to a variety of structured finance asset classes and an opportunity to developexpertisein credit analysis, securitization structures, rating methodologies, and industry research within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment andpossessa strong work ethic, analytical mindset, and attention to detail. The successful candidate willdemonstrateexcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels, including external market participants.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve efficiency through process enhancements, automation initiatives, and data-driven solutions.

  • Coordinate with colleagues across analytical, operations, compliance, and technology functions to support rating, research, and reporting activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, ora relateddiscipline.

  • Relevant experience in structured finance, credit analysis, capital markets, financial services, research, data analytics, ora related field. Level and responsibilities will becommensuratewith experience.

  • Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Base Salary Compensation Range

$97,854.00-137,910.00

Incentive Target Percentage

20% Annual
