JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the exciting Chief Investment Officers, getting insight into their achievements and challenges, and guiding their strategic success.

As the Vice President within the Alternative Investments Chief Financial Officer Team, you will be responsible for providing complete financial and analytical support to the Asset Management Private Markets business.  You will partner across the business to provide reporting, strategic analysis, oversight, and serve as a trusted partner to the CFO, business leads and Finance & Business Management organization.  You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the business end to end to work across multiple JPM support and management teams to deliver on a wide range of activities including;

Job responsibilities 

  • Financial control
  • Prepare sales, profitability, (revenue, expense) and headcount budgets/forecasts
  • Assist with analysis and design of key metrics and MIS reporting
  • Design, prepare and deliver regular presentations on results and analysis to various audiences
  • Project management across multiple deliverables to drive financial business cases and reporting
  • Understand the competitive industry landscape to guide product and pricing decisions
  • Complete multi-year business planning
  • Support ad-hoc projects and requests

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial related field
  • 7+ years of work experience, in Financial Analysis, Analytics, or Reporting
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in financial modeling and drawing actionable conclusions from analysis
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Essbase, Alteryx, Tableau)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
