Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed safely, minimizing operational risks and maintaining compliance with applicable standards and legislation.
• Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and ensure safe working practices across the technician team.
• Drive execution of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and inspection activities in line with daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance through regular SQDC reviews and support achievement of availability, reliability, and cost targets.
• Ensure maintenance activities are accurately recorded, reported, and managed through work order management processes with a strong focus on data quality.
• Coordinate closely with maintenance planning and scheduling functions to maximize workforce utilization and efficient execution of maintenance work.
• Manage outsourced specialist services and maintenance-related contracts when required.
• Oversee spare parts requirements and inventory needs for equipment under your responsibility.
• Support capability development within the maintenance team by identifying competency gaps and ensuring appropriate skills development actions are implemented.
• Contribute to the Asset Management Plan (AMP) and support maintenance budgeting activities while identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance costs through continuous improvement initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
• Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset, curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
• Engineering degree from a recognized engineering school in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to guide and support maintenance teams.
• Good understanding of asset maintenance planning metrics, principles, processes, and requirements.
• Practical planning and work scheduling capabilities with the confidence to challenge the status quo and improve existing practices.
• Structured, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach with strong attention to documentation and follow-through.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Lean knowledge and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working in multicultural environments and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on a shift basis and maintain focus and effectiveness over extended operational periods.
